Norwegian’s complimentary Splash Academy and Entourage youth program is designed for kids 6 months to 17 years old. Supervised by well trained staff, kids participate in activities with those their own age. The Splash Academy is for children ages 6 months to 12 years, while teens 13 to 17 years old participate in the Entourage Teen Program.

Guests must be 21 years or older to buy and drink alcohol onboard. Bringing alcohol onboard for consumption is prohibited. Alcohol purchased ashore will be confiscated by the ship’s crew and returned to you at the end of the cruise.
Applying to all guests ages 3 years or older, Norwegian charges $12.95 per person per day to your onboard account (Suites #14.95). Called a service charge, the fund is pooled and distributed amongst restaurant staff, stateroom stewards, and behind-the-scenes support staff. If you wish to decrease the amount of the service charge due to an issue, please advise the desk staff immediately. Norwegian strives for a satisfactory solution, however, should your concerns persist, the charges can be adjusted.
Drinks ordered onboard have an additional 15% gratuity automatically added. 18% is automatically added for spa and salon services. These charges will appear on your onboard account.
As part of Freestyle Cruising™, you have the freedom to choose what to wear. Where other cruise lines have formal night, Norwegian has “Dress-Up or Not Night.”
At the buffet, swimwear is acceptable, but a shirt or cover up must be worn. Footwear is also required.
In the main dining rooms or specialty restaurants, swimwear is not permitted. Tank tops (for men), flip flops, baseball caps, visors, overly faded jeans with holes or tears and worn below the hips are not permitted. Kids 12 and under are welcome to wear nice shorts in all our restaurants.
As air conditioning can be cold in public areas, packing a sweater is recommended.
Women are permitted to board if pregnant for 24 weeks or less on day of disembarkation. A physician's letter must be faxed to Passenger Courtesy (305-436-4147) for women in any stage of pregnancy. Doctor's note required. Infant minimum age is 6 months. For sailings with three or more consecutive days at sea, infants must be 12 months old at the time of sailing.
