Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge
Introduction
Located only one mile from the Park's entrance, Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge is the premium riverside accommodation in the area. An expansive deck overlooks Denali National Park and the Nenana River -- the ideal spot to relax, visit with friends and savor the exquisite landscape.

Its boundaries encompass an amazing six million acres -- the size of the state of Massachusetts. Home to Mt. McKinley, North America's highest peak soaring an unbelievable 20,320 feet into the sky, the Park hosts an array of wildlife -- from moose, caribou, Dall sheep and grizzly bears to gray wolves and red foxes.

The recent $26 million enhancement to the lodge is now complete! This significantly increases opportunities for guests to visit the top interior attraction in Alaska - Denali National Park. Guests will be welcomed by a new 16,000 square foot great room entrance and main lodge building. Vaulted ceilings, 30-foot-high glass windows, local art and wildlife sculptures give the structure a true wilderness feel.
When staying at the Denali Wilderness Lodge, be sure to visit the fitness facility. The lodge's gym is fully equipped with treadmills, recumbent and upright bicycles, and a Universal weight station. After your workout be sure to relax in the spa, which features hair and nail care, massage and tanning facilities.

Other amenities include the brand new River Run deli and espresso bar, Summit Dining Room, Cruiser's Café, Schuckers Seafood Bar, Lynx Creek Pizza, Base Camp Lounge and the Courtyard Coffee Kiosk. Enjoy the Music of Denali Dinner Show, browse in the gift shop, or just relax in one of the four outdoor hot tubs. The lodge also has a meeting room and a guest coin operated laundry.
The recent expansion added 80 new guest rooms, each of the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge's guest rooms is comfortably appointed with two double beds or one king bed, television and telephone -- just in case you want to catch up with the outside world.

Outdoor hot tubs near your room afford commanding views of the Park and Nenana River while you relax and indulge in a soothing soak. Suites with Jacuzzi tubs and standard rooms for disabled guests are also available.
Dining is always a treat at Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. Enjoy spirits, appetizers and casual fare on the river view deck or inside at the Base Camp Bar. Visit Cruiser's Café for spirits, informal dine-in and take-out selections or the Courtyard Coffee House for snacks, sandwiches and your favorite espresso beverage. Try the lodge's premier fine dining venue - Summit Restaurant for Princess' Signature Alaskan cuisine and panoramic views. And be sure to experience the Music of Denali -- a dinner theater featuring a hearty Alaskan meal and a rollicking musical comedy that recounts the first ascent of Mt. McKinley. This season, be sure to visit the new River Run deli and espresso bar serving up coffee, ice cream and specially baked pastries.
The Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge is located one mile from the entrance to Denali National Park on the banks of the Nenana River. The lodge offers modern comforts on the edge of the wilderness.
Part of the allure of Denali National Park is that you never know what you might see. Princess professionals at the Tour Desk are available to arrange a tour into the Park for a glimpse of its impressive ecosystem. Just ask for the Wildlife Search or Natural History Tour. Another popular tour is Princess' multiple night "Maximum McKinley" tour which allows guests to spend extra time in the land of "The Great One," Mt. McKinley - North America's tallest peak. Or perhaps you'd like to go river rafting, horseback riding or take a flight via airplane or helicopter for a unique perspective of this immense wilderness preserve. Princess also provides a complimentary shuttle service between the Lodge and the Denali National Park Visitors' Center.

If your envision of a tour is to stroll the outdoors by foot, then you will be happy to hear that Princess has transformed the lodge "campus" with additional walking paths and more than 500 trees and 50 flower boxes to add to the relaxing feel. Shoppers will love the addition of five new shops to create a Main Street walking village, brimming with unique Alaskan souvenirs.
For a special occasion or corporate retreat, the staff at the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge are on hand to make any function memorable. The Lodge's full-service conference room can be divided into smaller, more intimate rooms, perfect for special gatherings.
