Crystal is the luxury operator best suited for the family market. The luxury cruise line offers a supervised Junior Activities program for youth 3 to 17 years old. Not intended to be a babysitting service or daycare facility, children under the age of 3 must be supervised by a parent or guardian of all times.

There’s a Junior Cruiser’s menu, and Crystal’s chefs and staff can accommodate requests for custom dishes.
Depending on demand on a first-come first-served basis, Crystal offers in-stateroom babysitting services for children 1 year and older. Please advise the Concierge at the Reception desk on of your request at least one day prior. The fee is $10 per hour for one child, $15 per hour for two children and $20 per hour for three children. Three children is the max watched by one babysitter. Babysitting service is not available overnight.
Crystal Cruises does not accommodate children less than 6 months old and reserves the right to restrict onboard the number of those less than 3 years old.
You must be 21 years or older to purchase and consume alcohol onboard in Alaska. Crystal’s all-inclusive cruise fare includes free wine and premium spirits throughout the ship. Bringing hard liquor onboard whether at embarkation or at port is permitted but must be consumed in the privacy of your stateroom only. Should you purchase hard liquor at the ship’s duty free shop, that too must be consumed in the your stateroom and not in public spaces. Wine and champagne can also be brought onboard regardless of when and may be consumed in all restaurants without a corkage fee.
Excluding spa and salon services, gratuities are included in Crystal’s cruise fare. An 18% gratuity will be automatically applied to your onboard account for your convenience. Should you wish to offer more for other service personnel, you are welcome to do so at your discretion or if you would like to alter the automatic suggested amount, please contact the reception desk onboard.
The dress code onboard Crystal Cruises is a mix of active resort wear during the day, however, swimsuits, robes, baseball caps are not appropriate in the dining room. In the evening, casual daytime wear is not appropriate. On a 7 to 10 day cruise, there is one Black Tie Optional evening.
Crystal’s evening dress code for dining is elegant casual (informal) which is suit or slacks with a jacket, tie optional for men; cocktail dress, skirt, or slacks with a sweater or blouse for women. Jeans are not appropriate. Should you wish to change, please maintain a resort casual attire which is slacks and sweater or shirt for men and casual dress, skirt or slacks with a sweater or blouse for women.
On the Black Tie (formal) night, formal attire is optional. Crystal requests that jeans are not worn in any dining venues or lounges this evening, including the casino.
Guests are permitted to board if pregnant for 24 weeks or less on day of disembarkation. Infant minimum age is 6 months. Crystal reserves the right to limit all children under the age of 3 years.
